Friday The 13th: A New Beginning... I tried.. but got home too late after work, I'm surprised that I actually went through five movies  without falling asleep... specially on the 5th one.

I was pleasantly surprised with The Last house on the left. It was very different in atmosphere, yet it was extremely good on its own.

Some remakes can be really good. We'll see.

both of them were in my teens... one of them in an abandoned house that my grandparents owned, I was with four other friends and we went there exclusively to play with the board, no drugs or alcohol were consumed previously.

After what seemed to be several hours of just having fun and playing around, this thing warmed up and we started hearing noises on the roof, as in chains being dragged around and other miscellaneous noises that could only fit in a movie. There is no further explanation and I seriously don't really want to know much about it.

Second one was even worse, as we decided to take the board to open ground, to my friend's countryside farm. This time THE BOARD ITSELF didn't let me play and it burnt my fingertips as I touched the planchette. However nothing strange happened after my friends played with it.

I know this stuff sounds unbelievable, but at least it felt real to me. I believe in things like good and bad energy, but up to this point, this is some of the most strage things I have ever experienced in my life.

I had two different experiences with ouija boards and none of them were really pleasant.

Honestly though, without spoiling anything, I thought the first hour was extremely tense and well crafted. The concluding 20 minutes should have been cut, but regardless, I'll still look back on the film and think it was overall excellently made.

I'm trying to think what I've watched recently. I think the last thing would have been LEPRECHAUN.

I liked it, but I wasn't 100% thrilled by it. So that's why I wouldn't put it in my "to buy" list.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge.

that is probably the first film I have memories of... That kind of explains why I'm all messed up.

The Silent House... interesting movie after all. Not necessarily a "re-watchable" for me though...

Thanks to Derek, it's turning into a Peter Gabriel morning. His live performance of Solsbury Hill (with the live orchestra) on the Letterman show is playing right now.

New Blood is fantastic!!
