New here? Introduce yourself!
« on: March 07, 2012, 06:58:10 AM »
Thought it was a good idea to have an on-going thread for new member introductions. If nothing else, it's a good place to start if you're just signing up to the forum, so we can give you a proper Blood Theatre welcome!

I'm sure you all know me ( :D ) but for those who don't, I'm the editor and founder of the Blood Theatre. I started the site back in 2002 in an effort to contribute something to the online horror community and create a good resource for horror fans. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone who comes across the site, and joins the Blood Theatre community!
Keep it bloody, keep it sick, and keep the gore flowing!

Hey Squid, welcome to the site! Actually, our forums just opened a day or so ago, so we're all hoping this place gets more active! If you know anyone you could get to join us, we'd really appreciate it! Right now we're doing our best to promote the site and the messageboards, but tell your friends about us! And let us know when your podcasts are available. I'd love to check them out!

Sure thing! The site looks great! If you ever need another contributor, I have many classic horror film reviews as well as opinions!

Thanks. If you're looking to submit to the site, we do accept freelance contributions. Just send me an example of your writing to: editor@thebloodtheatre.com -- and I'll get back to you. If you've gone through the site you'll have an idea of the format we do our reviews in: both the full-length size and the micro-review size for the GUIDE TO GORE are options.

Hello everyone!
I am Tony, horror columnist and horror writer from Russia. And, of course, I'm a huge fan of horror movies and books.

But you do live here!

I'm UncannyDerek. Or just Derek.

Along with horror, I'm a huge heavy metal fan, comic book aficionado, and lover of frosted-free pop tarts.

Star Wars is pretty sweet, too. I guess.
